Connects has evolved from the original FaceMap project to become a social network that allows you to connect with others any time, but it's restricted to employees of Star Alliance member carriers. In our discussions with employees around the world, you told us that you want to connect with other employees - that's one of the benefits of an alliance.
We know that people in any organization form their own professional and personal networks. These networks help them do their jobs better and improve their lives by making information from others easily accessible.
As the word Connects implies, the site gives you a way to connect with other airline employees around the world. Much like its FaceMap predecessor, Connects allows you to post information about yourself and search for other employees. But Connects goes further by including a message system, a photo gallery and a better search field so you can find others by searching hobbies, skills, cities and the like.
There are also discussion groups, for now, limited to discussions about travel. But as the site evolves, we may introduce discussions about issues and events.
This global network can help you solve problems, test ideas and solicit feedback. Just let us know if that is what you would like from the site.
